We strive to prepare and package our products to preserve the high quality of the food. Keep in mind the temperature, sauce, and consistency of some items may vary slightly after being packaged.
It is your responsibility to make sure that we have all information necessary for a successful delivery. If you live in a secure building, or gated community, please make certain that we have adequate delivery information to make sure that our delivery personnel has access. We cannot redeliver your meals; therefore we have instructed our delivery personnel to leave all packages at the door without signature authorization. Your food will be waiting for you at your doorstep in temperature-controlled refrigerated containers. We are not responsible for spoiled food or a lost delivery due incomplete delivery information, or food that was not properly refrigerated.
Cancellations made 60 days (2 months) prior to the event or delivery date will result in the 50% of the paid balance being forfeited by customer as provision for liquidated damages. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event or delivery date will result in 100% of the paid balance forfeited by the customer as provision for liquidated damages. Note: The deposit is not refundable or transferable for any circumstances.
All prices quotes are valid for 30 days from the day of the quote. Prices are subjected to change. A price quote does not guarantee a contract price unless the contract has been signed within 30 days of the quoted price. A delivery fee will be assessed for food items that require only dropped off at the event location.
Cleanup and Set-Up
Our service is limited to the buffet station(s). It includes set-up, serving, and cleanup.
Guest Count Guarantee
A guest count guarantee is due 24 hours prior to delivery time. For larger events with 75 guests or more, guest count guarantee is due 48 hours prior to delivery time. We will do our best to accommodate increases for larger events however certain items are subject to availability.
Full payment is due upon menu confirmation. Any menu changes or modifications must be in writing and maybe subject to a modification fee depending on the time the change or modification was received. The client is responsible for keeping children and pets out of work area to ensure safety. Once we complete our service, the client is responsible for continuing proper food storage and handling techniques to prevent any food-borne illness. TAGINE HOUSE LLC is not liable for operational failure of or subsequent repairs to stove tops, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, disposals, vacuum sealers, plumbing or any other client property used that is necessary for the completion of cooking duties resulting from normal use and/or accumulative wear and tear.
Fee is not refundable if client’s home is inaccessible or unsafe due to pets or other reasons. Fee is not refundable if the Private Party cancelled seven (7) days or less from the scheduled cooking day, Cooking Fee is not refundable.
Inclement Weather Policy
When inclement weather impacts the normal operation of our delivery service, we will make every attempt to safely provide our services. During these challenging weather incidents, it is necessary for us to assess the safety of our delivery personnel and our staff, while giving the utmost consideration to our catering guest’s orders.
Inclement weather conditions constitute any conditions which create unsafe or hazardous driving conditions. These conditions may include, but are not limited to snow, ice, flooding, road closures and poor visibility. Indicators of these unsafe conditions could include venue closures, weather alerts, news warnings, and public safety alerts. Fee is not refundable after cancellation due to weather.
TAGINE HOUSE LLC must view location or layout plan two weeks before the event, to evaluate catering logistics.
At our sole discretion, we may provide sampling opportunity of our menu items. Samplings are conducted with a maximum of five (5) guests only. Additional guests are welcome with a fee of $25.00.
